Donors who give through the Community Foundation are people like you, people who are interested in giving back to our community and want to make a difference. We can help you clarify your charitable intent and connect you to the causes you care about. We provide personal service and professional advice, superior investment management and knowledge of the needs and opportunities in our community.

 

The Community Foundation provides a simple, yet powerful vehicle for managing your philanthropy. We offer a variety of fund options to help you achieve your philanthropic goals. We accept gifts of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate or other assets. In addition, your charitable gifts may qualify for maximum tax advantages, such as the Endow Iowa Tax Credit Program.

 

We work with individual donors, families, businesses and organizations to establish charitable funds that will benefit the community forever.

The Community Foundation of Washington County was established for the benefit of Washington County, Iowa.  You can support the work of the Community Foundation of Washington County by giving to our endowment funds.

  • Washington County Endowment Friends Fund – This endowment has been designed to support the day to day operation costs of the Community Foundation of Washington County, ensuring its long-term sustainability.  You may contribute to this fund by clicking on the fund name above. (This link will take you to the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation website.)
